FOUND IN EVERYDAY LIFE.
All three pictures were taken in my house. The first is of spoons that melted in my dishwasher. I thought it was cool that they melted so they are all different heights. I took this picture straight on to keep with the neatness and organization of this picture. The second is of super mini cupcakes. I zoomed in on them to make the plate look especially huge in comparison to them. I also tried to focus more on them with a shallow depth of field to help show their smallness. The last picture is of the pieces for my teams dodgeball jerseys that I made. I liked the bright green vs. the black and the random way they are spread about and how this feels like the craziness of the dodgeball tournament. Also the lighting has some very bright and dark shadows making it more dramatic.
STUDIO LIGHTING.
The first picture I took of half eaten fake food. My friend gives me fake food of all the food I'm allergic to each year for Christmas, giving it meaning to me. The second two pictures are of my toy dalmatians from when I was little. In the second picture I focused on the one dalmatian in the front who looks like he is sticking up for his family. The third picture is of my whole set of dalmatian toys.
